January 21, 2009

We haven't updated the blog in some time, as we have been tending to Jocelyn in her dying days. On Sunday morning, we had a few precious hours when Jocelyn became more alert and blessed John, the boys, and her parents with hugs and kisses. Since Sunday afternoon, she has been unresponsive. We are sure that she is not in any pain or discomfort, and John and the boys are with her around the clock. We appreciate your prayers and love, more than we can say.

Dear John and boys, it is so hard to take in everythiing Jocelyn has had to go through. Yet through it all she has been such a strebgth and comfort to those of us that stay in tune with her blog. You have an amazing woman on your hands there. She has always stayed true to her faith. You have all been so strong for each other and we as friends hold her and all of you up in prayer. This is not easy, we know that just as well, so enjoy your tie together. Make memories, reflect on your time with her and hold her tight and let her know how much you love her. You will always hold on to that if you do. Sing to her and pray with her. The Lord will embrace your family. He cares for you. He feels your hurt. You are always in our thoughts and prayers, and especially now we will support you in any we can. Please tell her for me how special i think she is and how good of a friend she is, i will say a special prayer for all of you. Love Brenda
