THANKFULNESS!

We are very thankful for good news yesterday about blood work, CT scans, liver showing no signs of cancer at this time. We are still awaiting results for another test, but we are going to take a little vacation next week anyways. We were happy and excited about these results so far. We are thankful for many things, the prayers and support of many people.
We are so aware of living a day at a time still, but live each day excited and as I read in my devotion we start with "THANK YOU FOR WAKING ME UP THIS MORNING!"
*****
Psalm 63:4 "I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands."
*****
Psalm 145: 1-21
From Stormie Omaritan Bible:
THE LORD IS NEARER WHEN WE PRAY
"Our feelings may tell us that God is distant, but Scripture tells us otherwise. When we call on Him in prayer, God is near to us whether we feel it or not. At the same time, we might pray for something we need and fail to see an answer after weeks, months, or even years of passionate intercession. Why does God so often cause us to wait for what we are so sure we need right away?
If you start becoming discouraged and feel as if your life won't ever be any different than it is at this moment, know that the truth is quite the opposite. it's at these very times, when you feel as though you're not getting anywhere or you're missing the future God has for you, that God is actually preparing you for your future. And when the time is right. He has been known to do a very quick work. Draw close to God in prayer, trusting that He is near. Thank Him that he hears your prayers and will answer in His perfect way. "

Hi Jocelyn, just thought I would send you this poem, Love P&S

I asked God for water,
He gave me an ocean.
I asked God for a flower,
He gave me a garden.
I asked God for a friend,
He gave me YOU...
If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.
Happy moments, praise God.

Difficult moments, seek God.
Quiet moments, worship God.
Painful moments, trust God.
Every moment, thank God.
"Sorrow looks back... Worry looks around... Faith looks up..."
