#5 & #6 FRUIT - PLANT SEEDS OF KINDNESS & GOODNESS

Stormie Omaritan NIV Bible - Kindness is something you choose to put on, like your clothes! The ultimate act of kindness was when Jesus gave His life for us. Pray that His brand of kindness will grow in you! (Colossians 3:12)
AND
When the goodness of God is sown in your soul, it leads you to produce good deeds.
(Matthew 12:35)

Sometimes God uses creative people – I think I’m creative?? – I’m not always organized as some can tell you, sometimes talk to much – but I’m willing to be used by God.

Can I tell a fun story?
(Aren't blogs wonderful you don't get to answer!?)
While sitting in the coffee shop at the Juravinski Cancer Centre after radiation with my Dad and Mom, friend Lorraine and myself. We talked about a special aunt’s (mom’s sister) 80th birthday and how originally way back she was going to have a celebration dinner. With everything going on she decided not to. How can we make her day special? Did we have a plan?!!!!
Off to the store to see what we could find – thanks for being a partner in crime Lorraine! We found a scarecrow of a girl in pigtails and tied some helium 80th balloons to it and added a card – just because we love you! Then 2 signs that said Open House / FREE COFFEE. The store clerks were impressed with the idea and had a good laugh.
Then we had to find 2 kind souls (willing volunteers) ended up being Rob & Glenda, who would go in the night and put it on her lawn. Amazing what true friends/co-workers will do for you if you ask nicely!!! Thanks guys - your the best!!!!
Well Aunt Joyce ended up having a great day and seeing lots of people! We were blessed by the funny stories she had to tell! And I’m sure the people visiting Aunt Joyce were blessed by her! So thanks everyone!!

My Dad and his two Sister-in-laws - he's feeling young at 79!

..........................................................................................................
I know that 12 special people helped a single mom and her children move today! Awesome!!! KINDNESS IN ACTION!

What about if everyone reading this blog could work on a
really kind and good thing to do this week?
Whose world could shine just a little brighter and
be reminded that God loves them?

What a great story and pictures.  It was good to hear your voice on Friday at the board meeting.  The training went well but was not the same without you being there.  Lauren is looking forward to you taking over again.  Blessings and you continue to be in our prayers.  Off to Japan tomorrow to review that ministry Al K
