SEPT. 16TH – Happy 79th Birthday Dad!

So many great people in our lives – we don’t know where to start – thank you all. John & I would love to talk to you all personally, but we won’t be able to keep that up physically. Try to go easy on health questions with my family – we don’t know answers. It’s harder being the watching family than the patient – really. Pray for them for rest and peace.
I don’t need a lot of sleep – so I worked on some blog thoughts overnight – I love picking up and reading comments – please feel free to share some messages of hope in your lives.

COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS IN YOUR LIFE TODAY!! WE ALL COME FROM DIFFERENT PLACES … MANY OF YOU ALSO GOING THROUGH DIFFERENT STRUGGLES.
BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF PRAYER – GOD’S GRACE IS ENOUGH FOR YOU AND ME!

There are some immediate things I need to do this week – I promise to go slowly for all those mothers out there! I have a new administrative assistant (nice title hey!) Christine is very capable and kind and will be sure to have us organized soon. I’ve done this great job for almost 30 years so it’s a little bit of a task to teach some day to day stuff to get things back up to speed as quick as possible.

THANKS TO ALL OUR WILLOWBROOK EMPLOYEES FOR PULLING EXTRA WEIGHT FOR JOHN, CHRIS & I – WE SPEND SO MUCH TIME TOGETHER WE ARE LIKE FAMILY - AND WE APPRECIATE YOUR HELP AND CONCERN.

** p.s. Okay O favorite brother Ron I will put a better picture of John & I on the blog today. Love you lots!

Jocelyn,
We see your passion for life daily, and we know what matters the most to you. You live life out loud! Because of this, it was not hard for us to figure out how to express our best wishes and prayers for returning health and strength. In honor of your perseverance and strength we have made a donation to Rose City Kidz. (May be this will allow you to relax and heal even though you want to be up and serving.) You are a blessing to so many people, may the floodgates be opened over you, that you would receive back tenfold the blessing that you have been to others!

Jocelyn,

It is wonderful to see that you have returned home and that the Lord has blessed the surgery and has answered so many prayers. The Lord is the great physician and we pray that through this and always the Lord will continue to keep you in HIS arms and that in time you may receive full strength and healing. We will continue to pray for you and your family. Continue to put all your trust in the LORD as through HIM all things are possible.
